Branding a socially responsible real-estate VC

CHALLENGE. As a newcomer to the market, Seal Ventures needed to establish a distinct position within the real estate VC category. Our primary goal was to create a brand that would not only stand out from its competitors but also effectively communicate its impact-driven mission of supporting underserved communities. Simultaneously, we aimed to craft a compelling visual identity that would engender trust and respect among investors and developers alike.

SOLUTION. We crafted Seal Venture's brand, blending its refined visual identity with bold messaging that would convey its socially-conscious mission. Drawing inspiration from phyllotaxis—a pattern that gives rise to distinct spirals in nature—we developed the design of SV’s key visuals and monogram logo, embodying Seal Venture's overarching motif of growth and ecosystem development. The integration of deep green with a secondary bright orange differentiates the brand, while the use of lifestyle photography breathes life into its strong positioning and verbiage, bringing forth its mission of bridging the gap in accessible seed funding for underserved communities.
